Job Description

Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Faculty Positions in Epidemiology

The Department of Environmental and Radiological Health Sciences (ERHS) at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado invites applications for two epidemiology faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. These positions are located within a unique multi-disciplinary environment with a history of excellence in epidemiologic research and teaching programs, and will be part of the Colorado School of Public Health.   For more information about the positions please see the Open Positions link on the ERHS Department website:  www.cvmbs.colostate.edu/ns/departments/erhs

Applicants must have a PhD, ScD, or equivalent degree in Epidemiology or a closely related field. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Successful candidates will have a history of and/or potential to develop an externally funded re-search program. Candidates whose research focus includes environmental epidemiology, occupational epidemiology, genetic/molecular epidemiology, and/or chronic disease epidemiology (including cancer, cardiovascular disease), and applicants with strong methods/quantitative skills are particularly encouraged to apply. The new faculty members will be expected to contribute to teaching in the undergraduate and graduate programs, mentor graduate students, and develop vibrant, externally funded research programs.
