The Department of
Environmental and Occupational Health at Drexel University School
of Public Health in Philadelphia, PA is recruiting for a
University-funded position as an Assistant/Associate/Full
Professor for a tenured or tenure track appointment (depending
on qualifications).
The
successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in areas of
occupational and environmental health research and, at the
Associate/Full Professor level, be prepared to mentor junior
faculty. Of particular interest is
research in areas of health effects of environmental exposures,
injury epidemiology and/or occupational health psychology.
The ideal candidate
will have shown abilities to [a] develop research methods in
exposure assessment and/or epidemiology and [b] translate research
findings into community-level interventions. Experience working
internationally on collaborative multi-center projects is
desirable. The successful candidate will be expected to teach
graduate level course in their area of expertise. Additional
qualifications include a Doctoral degree in relevant discipline
and prior experience teaching and supervising graduate students.
