Advertisement for UTL Assistant Professor, General Internal Medicine Division

Stanford University School of Medicine seeks applications for a University Tenure Line faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine, with research interests in the social determinants of health inequalities and their control, global and domestic.  A strong research background in a relevant scientific discipline is required for this primarily investigative faculty position.  Applicants must have an MD degree and be board eligible or certified in Internal Medicine or other primary care specialty.  Training and expertise in a quantitative discipline, such as clinical epidemiology, decisions analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, biostatistics, and health services research are desirable.  The successful candidate must have demonstrated during his/her postdoctoral training the promise of outstanding performance in research, teaching and patient care.
