OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

Are you ready to be at the forefront of groundbreaking research in aging-related chronic diseases? We are seeking motivated individuals to work alongside Dr. Daniel (Dong) Wang, Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and Associate Member at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.

As a key member of our team, you will contribute to cutting-edge research focusing on identifying dietary and lifestyle risk factors and biomarkers of aging-related diseases, as well as elucidating biological pathways using multi-omics, including the gut microbiome, metabolomics, and genomics, to advance precision prevention and treatment approaches for Alzheimer's dementia, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.

Successful candidates will actively engage in several NIH-funded R01 projects within deeply-phenotyped, population-based studies such as the Nurses’ Health Study, the Health Professionals Follow-Up Study, the DIRECT-PLUS Trial, and an international consortium on the human microbiome and multi-omics. You'll benefit from access to extensive training and research resources at Harvard, BWH, and the Broad Institute, facilitating research exposure in chronic disease epidemiology and computational biology.

As part of our commitment to your professional growth, we plan to establish a joint appointment among BWH, Harvard, and the Broad Institute for successful trainees. Moreover, candidates are encouraged to propose and pursue their own research topics related to preventing and treating chronic diseases.

Join our team and be part of groundbreaking research that aims to unravel the complexities of aging-related chronic disease. This position presents an excellent opportunity for professional development and the chance to significantly impact the field of biomedical research and public health.
