asynchronous online learning formats. Registrants for

courses need access to high-speed internet. Specific

access is provided to registrants before the course
begins.

Our synchronous courses vary in length from 4 hours to 20 hours delivered in an online live format. These courses are offered only on a specific date and time allowing registrants the ability to interact live with their episummer@columbia course instructor and other registrants.
episummer@columbia: asynchronous learning
Each
asynchronous course, varying in length from 5 hours to
40 hours, contains lectures and course material
presented online with materials released by the
instructor accordingly. The flexible format will include
video or audio recordings of lecture material, file
sharing and topical discussion fora, self-assessment
exercises, real-time electronic office hours and access
to instructors for feedback during the course.
