The
Department of Family Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh
School Of Medicine seeks an influenza epidemiologist with
experience in influenza epidemiology and clinical research for
appointment as a tenure-track Assistant Professor. The
position involves coordination of studies on influenza vaccine
effectiveness and immunogenicity at various clinical settings.
The candidate must have an appropriate PhD or DrPH or
equivalent degree; experience with epidemiologic and clinical
research required; laboratory expertise with respiratory
viruses is beneficial; own transportation to various clinical
sites and the ability to travel to CDC meetings. Fluent and
good writing skills are needed. The ability to converse on the
phone in English is required. As well as good computers skills
including research and statistical software. Salary will
be
commensurate with experience.
