The Department
of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, University of California,
San Francisco (UCSF) invites applications for faculty
positions at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor ranks,
in the Adjunct series.
The UCSF
Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics provides a
supportive academic environment for original research,
including opportunities for collaboration with other
Department researchers, as well as teaching and mentoring as
part of our Master's Degrees in Clinical Research and Global
Health and the Epidemiology and Translational Science and
Global Health Sciences PhD programs.
Duties:
The successful candidates will lead a research
program funded by extramural sources and be committed to
regular and ongoing teaching.
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Medicine, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Public
Health or a closely related field. Candidates must have
current or recently-awarded extramural funding for research in
areas of interest and the ability to provide funding of own
salary through extramural and other self-generated funding.
The successful
candidate will be able to demonstrate an excellent teaching
record; preference will be given to candidates with areas of
research compatible with current departmental programs.
