The Veterans Aging Cohort
Study in the Section of General Medicine at Yale University
School of Medicine is recruiting for a dedicated full-time
Assistant Professor to direct the Biostatistics Core. The
successful candidate will provide and supervise advanced
epidemiological and statistical analysis for ongoing
observational cohort studies. Applicants should have a
doctoral degree in epidemiology or biostatistics. This
position requires expertise in using propensity score
modeling, causal inference, multiple imputation, and competing
risk analysis in a clinical setting. Successful candidate will
mentor a team of biostatisticians, doctoral candidates, and
teach epidemiology to medical students.
Preferred:
Background in analytic chemistry to effectively work with
laboratory and pharmacy data.
