The
Department of Medicine/Division of Infectious Diseases
and Geographic Medicine at Stanford Medicine is
recruiting a faculty at the Assistant
Professor/Associate Professor levels to contribute to
the research, clinical, and educational activities of
the Division. Candidates with research programs in all
areas of Infectious Diseases will be considered,
including those with clinical and bench-based research
programs. We are especially interested in applicants
whose research programs focus on Clinical Trials, Global
Health, Population Health/Big Data, and Outcomes
Research. The faculty positions will be in the
University Tenure Line or University Medical Line. The
predominant criterion for appointment in the University
Tenure Line is a major commitment to research and
teaching. The predominant criterion for appointment in
the University Medical Line is excellence in the overall
mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly
activity that advances clinical medicine, and
institutional service appropriate to the programmatic
need the individual is expected to fulfill. Faculty rank
and line will be determined by the qualification and
experience of the successful candidate
